Pet Supplies Plus Brockton

Unprofessional management: I went in to use the self service dog wash as I usually do. The cashier was very pleasant, however manager was rude and argumentative. I paid for the wash, was told only one station was working I waited around 15-20 minutes before another customer came in to use the wash. The manager offered to let them use the dysfunctional station that only had cold water and because they accepted that and the first customer happened to be done, I was told they were going to use the functional one first. When I expressed my concern, the manager chose to be argumentative so i decided to get a refund and leave. When I asked for the staff members name, I was told her name is Diane and she was the manager. Poor customer service for me. Inhumane to offer someone to give their dog an ice cold bath in the winter.

I visited Pet Supplies Plus in Brockton yesterday and was appalled at how the live animals were being kept. The reptile's and frog's water dishes were either empty or only contained a tiny amount of dirty water. This was in the afternoon so the store had been open for hours. Giving clean water to the living animals should be the first thing employees do when they come in. All of the reptile's and frog tanks looked very dirty also. The ball python's tank was the worst. The water dish was almost empty and had a strange white film across the top. The humidity was dangerously low, 30% according to the hygrometer. Ball pythons need at least 60-80% humidity or else they're susceptible to health problems. The employees should be using Reptisoil or Ecoearth as a substrate to help hold humidity and making sure the snake has a full dish of clean water. Took pictures and contacted the Pet Supplies Plus corporate office. I was in this same location about two months ago and the ball python they had at that time was covered in stuck shed from low humidity and was trying to get out of his enclosure during the day, indicating extreme discomfort.

Waiting for corporate to open Monday. Horrible experience. This gem of a human is the ring leader. She also happily put my dog in inhumane circumstances with almost freezing temps. Full video footage of my experience. She needs to be terminated. Will update.

An absolutely abysmal and disgusting experience with this location’s dog wash. As a frequent user of various Pet Supplies Plus’ self serve dog wash, I have come to expect a similar level of quality from all of the locations. I guess that’s a risk with franchise companies with lax standards. When we arrived at the dog wash (after paying of course 🙄) we found that neither of the tubs were cleaned and sanitized from their last use, the wash bays were missing doors, and the bays drain into the floor drain, causing the floor to flood as you’re standing at it washing your dog. How this dump of a location is able to operate let alone be identified with a brand that until now I had always respected. Thankfully this was a one time bath need and will never be a regular occurrence

Hey Pet supply Staff. Just moved to this area and have a new puppy, brought him into the store and a big dog barked, and im not complaining. He needs to interact and socialize, so yes he was terrified. Lol but he got over it pretty quickly when Terrell (hope im spelling it right) came over in the isle and held my little poodle and made sure he felt safe. He had a smile in his face and a great customer service. Definitely a Dog person. He assisted us with getting a new harness, beef liver treats, dental sticks, new bones and was knowledgeable of brands and types of things that wouldn't harm a new pup, I left with Dental sticks, bones too and other things to strength his teeth and even Cod fish chips. He also assisted other clients and made his round back to us. Def a great asset to any team. Thank you! Ill def be back!
